ABOUT
In progress is a major conversion of a Victorian warehouse into a family home in the Spitalfields area of London.
At this project in Spitalfields, we have retained the facade only and created an interesting contemporary family residence over 5 floors. The driving force behind the re-design of the internal spaces revolves around bringing natural light into the heart of the house. We have made this possible by designing a top-lit central staircase adjoined by the living spaces. A lightwell from the rear garden also draws light down to the ground and basement floors. The main living space is on the first floor, has a very generous floor to ceiling height and looks out across the rear garden.
